About This Site.

This site is intended as a total resource for present & future Generations for recording
and sharing family information.

Using the utilities within the site, you can record all life details about each and every
person connected to the tree and upload photographs to the tree.

The advantages of a shared on-line tree are huge.

1. Everyone on the planet ( who has access ) can add to the tree, which means the 
total cumulative knowledge of everyone is used, rather than everyone having little bits
( if any at all ) of the tree recorded personally, in a book, on a computer, or a privately
run ( and subscription ) site.

2. The knowledge is retained and shared forever, as long as at least one person within
the family group takes responsibility for running the website.

3. Each family member can have a personal E-Mail that never changes, if you happen to
change your ISP ( internet service provider )

4. The site allows secure backup to your P.C. or other FTP client. ( if backup is performed
please keep the data secure )

Obviously your name needn't be "Polland" to belong to the tree, as long as you are related through blood, marriage, or family integration then you are very welcome to use the resources within. To access the Family Tree, you will need a "username" and "password".

If you require a "username" and "password" please use the "Enter Site" link on the left hand column and then choose "Please contact the site supervisor" link within the page, stating your name and how you are connected to the tree, the Site Supervisor will then issue the neccessary access details.

The site uses the standard "GEDCOM" data base for holding information, thus it is possible to "import" family tree data from other sources. Note: PLEASE DO NOT EXPORT ANY DATA FROM THIS TREE AS IT WILL VIOLATE OUR SECURITY POLICY.
